Antti Isosalo received his Master of Science (Tech.) degree in Information Engineering (engineering mathematics) from the University of Oulu, Finland. He has also conducted supplementary studies in Mathematics and Physics and pedagogical studies for Subject Teachers (60 ECTS cr).

Over the past 5 years he has been working in the Faculty of Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering with pattern recognition and machine learning related research problems. Recently, he has acquired new knowledge on deep learning and medical image analysis while working at the Faculty of Medicine. Currently he is with the Research Unit of Medical Imaging, Physics and Technology.

In addition to the aforementioned research activities, he has been involved in study advising and study administration related duties in the Biomedical Engineering Int’l Master’s programme (2017-2019).
