Biography
I have more than 15 years of experience in using Geographic Information System (GIS) in a wide range of applications, including animal ecology, environmental epidemiology, forestry, health studies, landscape analysis and transport. In addition to research, I have extensively engaged in teaching and developed the specialization of Geoinformatics. Drawing on my previous experience in software industry, I am particularly focused on using programming to implement GIS tools and to solve complex geospatial problems.
