MAI researcher Rashid Dehkordi awarded a grant from the Foundation for Economic Education for international research
MAI researcher Rashid Dehkordi, DSc (Econ), has been awarded a research grant by the Foundation for Economic Education. The grant amounts to €23,500.
Dehkordi’s research focuses on the transformation of the Finnish automotive sector under the theme “Transformation in the Finnish Automotive Sector: Ecosystems for Converging Mobility and Energy.” The research will be carried out at Imperial College London in the United Kingdom.
The grant was awarded as part of the spring 2026 call of the Foundations’ Post Doc Pool. The foundations participating in the pool awarded grants on 14 April 2026 to a total of 20 doctoral researchers, amounting to €979,000 for research carried out abroad.
The Foundations’ Post Doc Pool is a funding instrument established by member foundations of The Association of Finnish Foundations to support international mobility among researchers. It provides flexible, full-cost funding for research periods abroad lasting between 6 and 24 months, thereby promoting the internationalisation of Finnish research.
MAI congratulates Rashid Dehkordi on the grant and extends its thanks to the Foundation for Economic Education for its support!
