D.Sc.(Tech.) Jenni Ylä-Mella is a University Lecturer in the Water, Energy and Environmental Engineering Research Unit. Her responsibilities include teaching and supervising theses in Environmental Engineering, and she serves as a tutor teacher for the Sustainable Energy Systems specialization in the master's programmes. She also serves as Deputy Director of the Environmental Engineering degree programmes and Vice Chair of the Degree Programme Committee. Her research focuses on material requirements for energy infrastructure, critical raw materials, recycling strategies and other approaches that support a sustainable energy transition.
