Outi Kähäri is a sociologist and postdoctoral researcher in the Unit of History. Her recent research focuses on social history, biographical research and the retheorizing of postmemory in the context of Ingrian family histories. Her research interests center on historical forced migrations, the governmentality of refugees, and transnational family memories. Kähäri has also examined the labor market integration of minorities and questions of social justice in working life by using trust theoretical perspectives.
