Outi Kähäri is a sociologist and postdoctoral researcher working in the unit of history. Her recent research has focused on social history, biographical research and retheorizing of postmemory in the context of Ingrian family histories. Her research interests are particularly related to historical forced migrations and governmentality of refugees as well as transnational family memories. Kähäri has also explored labor market integration of minorities and issues of social justice in working life by using trust theoretical perspectives.
