Internship and work announcements

As a member of Finanssi ry, you will receive notifications of open jobs and internships via the email list. It is no longer possible to forward jobs and internships through the University of Oulu's student email lists.

Life in Oulu

Student clubs and societies

As a multidisciplinary university, there are a lot of subject societies, also known as guilds, in the University of Oulu. They gather the students of a particular field. Oulu Business School students' guild is called Finanssi ry. In addition, there are many interest societies that organize events and free-time activities for their members.

AIESEC, Erasmus Student Network (ESN), and Network of International Students (NISO) organize activities especially for international students in Oulu. For example, Cafe Lingua is a weekly event where both Finnish and international people get to meet each other, socialize, learn about different cultures, and practice different languages in a casual and fun way.

International communities

International House of Oulu gathers different guidance services under the same roof. Services are targeted at international newcomers and immigrants, and also companies planning to recruit international people. The Multicultural Centre Villa Victor is a meeting place open for everyone. They offer Finnish language teaching as well as organize multicultural events, information sessions, clubs and mentoring.
