Bachelor's programmes using only SAT

International Business Management, SAT and ACT tests

Please note the following requirements and conditions concerning SAT results:

• The institutional code for the University of Oulu is 9079.
• If you have taken the SAT more than once, only the test with the highest total score, based on the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Mathematics sections, will be considered. The University of Oulu does not accept SAT Superscores.
• If you have taken the SAT before applying, your official SAT score must be verifiable through the electronic system. The way you submit your score depends on the application period. See the application-specific instructions below.
• Since August 2022, SAT score reports have been electronic only. Paper score reports are no longer available. All score reports must be sent to the University of Oulu through the electronic system. See the detailed instructions below.
• Only SAT tests taken after 2016 are accepted.
• SAT test dates may become fully booked before the final registration deadline. Please register for the test well in advance.

• The University of Oulu does not organise SAT tests and cannot answer enquiries about SAT tests.

Through Rolling admission, you can apply to the Bachelor's programme in International Business Management with either SAT or ACT results.
The studies will begin in autumn 2027.

You must upload your SAT or ACT test results to your application when submitting your application. The test results must be verifiable through the electronic system immediately after you submit your application. In the Joint Application, you can apply to the following degree programmes with SAT results:

• Computer Science and Engineering, Bachelor and Master of Science (Technology) (3y+2y)
• Electronics and Communications Engineering, Bachelor and Master of Science (Technology) (3y+2y)
• Software Engineering and Information Systems, Bachelor and Master of Science (3 y + 2 y)

To be considered for admission based on your SAT results, you must either upload your SAT score report to your application or send your scores to the University of Oulu through College Board's electronic service by the document submission deadline. If you are selected for admission, your SAT scores must be sent electronically by the deadline specified for student selection.
