Accessibility in Studies and Individual study arrangements
Accessibility refers to the ways in which physical, psychological and social environments are designed to ensure that everyone can interact with others on an equal basis despite their individual characteristics.
Arriving at Campuses
The Linnanmaa and Kontinkangas campuses are easily accessible on foot, by bicycle, by bus, or by private car. Bicycle parking facilities are available near almost all entrances. Further information can be found on this page.
In consideration of the arrival of new students, parking supervision in the University of Oulu’s cold parking areas (marked with blue on the map) at the Linnanmaa campus has been suspended until 30 September 2025. Please note that this suspension does not extend to university heating posts or designated paid guest parking spaces. Additionally, off-road parking (parking outside of marked or designated areas) remains strictly prohibited.
