Optoelectronics and Measurement Techniques (OPEM) group conducts research in the fields of biophotonics, biomedical and industrial measurements as well as printed intelligence.

Research group description
OPEM consists of four teams which develop for example
- advanced photonics tools and techniques for functional imaging, sensing, and characterization of biotissues and cells
- novel measurement methodologies and analysis techniques for medical research
- optical measurement systems and devices for industrial inspection and environmental monitoring applications
- methods for design, fabrication and characterization for the products of printed intelligence such as batteries.
OPEM also educates students by offering interesting courses and thesis projects within its areas of expertise.
