Whether you're a new degree student or joining us as an exchange student, we've got you covered with all the details you'll need to prepare for your arrival.
Peppi service supports study and education-related digital services at the University of Oulu. For a student, Peppi is a valuable tool, as in Peppi you can, e.g. make your personal study plan, find course catalogues, register for courses, and see your finished courses and grades. See more about Peppi from the instructions below.
The Linnanmaa and Kontinkangas campuses are easily accessible on foot, by bicycle, by bus, or by private car. Bicycle parking facilities are available near almost all entrances. On the university’s website, you will find campus maps and further information on how to get to the campuses:
The MazeMap campus navigation tool helps you find your way around campus. Here you can find instructions on how to download MazeMap to your phone.
During Orientation Week, there is an information desk for new students in the main lobby of the university, where you can get help finding the right room if needed.
If you have any questions or concerns about your pre-arrival preparations, do not hesitate to contact your faculty's Study Services.
With the Ask Me! campaign, we welcome new students to the University of Oulu. When you see someone wearing a pink Ask Me! badge, feel free to tap them on the shoulder and ask for help! On the Ask Me! campaign pages, you can also find answers to the most common questions new students have.
