Environmental and Chemical Engineering

Environmental and Chemical Engineering (ECE) research unit consist of three research subgroups: Environmental and Chemical Engineering, Inorganic Chemistry and Control Engineering.

ECE participates in teaching in three educational degree programmes: Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Chemistry.

Research groups

Environmental and Chemical Engineering

Core competence areas are catalysis, separation processes, modelling, and design of sustainable unit operations and processes.

Inorganic Chemistry

Inorganic Chemistry research group focuses on synthetic and structural inorganic chemistry, and environmental inorganic chemistry.

Control Engineering

Research is directed towards process modelling and control as well as industrial applications of artificial intelligence and advanced data analysis.
