Gas reduction equipment

In this apparatus it is possible to study different gas and solid feedstock as a function of temperature. The equipment is flexible and suitable e.g. for catalyst study.

The equipment has been used in reforming and DRI (direct reduction of iron) studies.

The furnaces can be heated up to 1500°C and the analyses are done with FTIR and separate oxygen and hydrogen analysers.

 

Continuous stirred tank reactor

Laboratory scale continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR) for catalytic reactions, methanol synthesis and CO2 utilization studies. Equipment can also be used for batch reactor tests.

Reaction can be followed by with on-line gas chromatograph. The equipment can be pressurized up to 150 bar (15 MPa) and heated up to 315°C (588 K).
