Ilpo Niskanen

l possesses extensive expertise in technology, particularly in measurement techniques, optoelectronics, and the mining and process industries. I holds a PhD in Physics and several other advanced degrees in Electrical and Information Engineering, as well as Process Engineering.I has worked in various research and development roles at universities, including the University of Oulu, Japanese universities and Mid Sweden University, with significant experience in project management, especially in EU-funded projects.

My areas of expertise include:
Development of optical measurement methods.
Autonomous and digital solutions in the mining and construction industries.
Characterization of nanomaterials using spectroscopic methods.
Leading research and development projects in international contexts.

I has also published extensively in international scientific journals and conferences, particularly in optics and measurement technology, and holds several invention disclosures.
