At the Ant Genomics and Immunity Research Group we explore the genetic mechanisms behind key events in social evolution through population and functional genomics. Another major focus is on understanding the infection dynamics and evolution of ant viruses. Our research employs cutting-edge techniques such as individual whole-genome DNA and RNA sequencing, pooled RNA sequencing and advanced bioinformatics analyses.”
