The XII International Congress for Finno-Ugric Studies features experts in Sámi research

The international Congress for Finno-Ugric studies starts today, Monday the 17th of August 2015 in Oulu. Several Sámi research experts are attending the event with their papers. One of the keynote speakers is professor Kaisa Rautio Helander from the Sámi University College. The congress is focused on linguistics, in addition to that the Sámi researchers will discuss the issues of revitalizing cultures and languages.
