Today I supervise 19 students of our own doctoral school.  Four of them are taking part also in other general graduate schools in Finland:  1 person: Cultural Interaction and Integration in the Baltic Sea Region (University of Turku); 1 person: Amerikkojen tutkimuksen tutkijakoulu (University of Helsinki); 1 person:  Anthropology and Classics (University of Sienna, Italy); 1 person: Aleksanterin instituutin tutkijakoulu (University of Helsinki). Seven students are taking part in the graduate school of Culture and Interaction (Faculty of Humanities, University of Oulu)
I am currently supervising, too, an American graduate student at the University of New York at Albany
