Energy transition in the North, PhD course, 5 ECTS

The course is co-organized by University of Oulu (UOulu), University of Lapland (ULapland), Luleå University of Technology (LUT), Umeå University (UME) and UiT The Arctic University of Norway (UiT).

Invitation to the course - Application deadline extended!

The course can be included as a special curriculum course in the students PhD program consisting of 5 ECTS. Course requirement includes a pre-course abstract, a group work during the week, and a post-course work delivered as a written report.


The program consist of lectures on topics covering both technical and societal aspects of renewable energy in the Arctic region, and there will be site visits and discussions about renewables throughout the week.
