LET coordinates an entrepreneurship project that develops entrepreneurship skills and crisis preparedness based on learning research.
"SISU and digi in entrepreneurship" project is targeting for strengthening micro entrepreneurs resiliency, innovation potential, coping strategies as well as capacities for renewal to cope through the current Covid19 crisis, and be stronger to continue the business after the crisis. The project also aims to increase the ability of micro-entrepreneurs to survive a long-term COVID-19 crisis by strengthening their resources and resilience. Main activities in the project are 1) digital SISU-clinic for entrepreneurs in which entrepreneurs are supported based on their needs by designing an action plan how to be able to continue the business despite of the Covid19 situation, 2) digibank which includes various materials to support entrepreneurs’ skills to cope in crisis and digital skills needed in this situation, 3) enhancement of distance services. One main result of the project is that entrepreneurs will recognize the potential that this new situation can bring into their services/ product development, and that they will develop their business by applying modern digital tools. This way entrepreneurs’ knowledge and skills develop, update and recur, and their capacities to cope through the Corona crisis increase. Short term impact of the project is that micro companies in the area of North Ostrobothnia will manage to stay productive during Covid19-crisis and after it, and in future they have more capacities to confront similar situations.
