LET receives AoF NOS HS funding to organize artificial intelligence workshops across the Nordic countries

Artificial Intelligence in Nordic School Life (aiLife) project has received funding from Academy of Finland to organize multiple workshops in Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. aiLife aims to initiate and establish a research agenda for exploring socio-technical aspects of realizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology in Nordic education. The project is led by Prof. Sanna Järvelä. The partners of the project are Ass. Prof. Daniel Spikol from University of Mälmö, Prof. Morten Misfield from University of Copenhagen, and Prof. Barbara Wasson from University of Bergen and their teams. aiLife workshops will involve hands-on, in-depth knowledge exchange practices among the experts and scholars from Artificial Intelligence and Education fields. The workshop series will specifically bring together partners to explore the best techniques, practices and strategies for designing and implementing sustainable technology rich learning environments at a large scale in Nordic countries. Workshops will start in the spring of 2021 and continue until the end of 2022.
